The Story

In this highly acclaimed animated tale by Hayao Miyazaki, a schoolgirl, Satsuke, and her younger sister, Mei, move with their father to the countryside whilst their mother recovers from an illness in hospital. As they settle in to their new surroundings, they take comfort in the new world they've found themselves in, they find and befriend the wondrous forest spirits already inhabiting the area.
